Description
Mechanical Treatment
The mechanical treatment takes place in a combined system consisting of:
- 6 fine screens (Type MC 56)
- 6 combined units with grit and grease trap (Type KU 90)
- 3 screw conveyors (Type U320)
- 3 wash compactors (Type BSWP20)
- 3 grit washers (Type SAW18)
These components work seamlessly together to effectively remove coarse and fine solids, as well as sand and grease, from the wastewater flow.
Intermediate Pump Station and Pressure Boosting
For wastewater conveyance, powerful pump systems are available:
- 4 centrifugal pumps in the intermediate pumping station
- 4 centrifugal pumps in the pressure boosting station
These ensure reliable transport of the wastewater through the subsequent treatment stages.
Operating Principle
Air Treatment and Control
Odour emissions are effectively reduced by a central, chemically based air treatment system. The entire plant is monitored and controlled via electrical containers with integrated control units and a modern process control system.
