Reliable transport of screenings and sand
The U spiral conveyor efficiently transports screenings and sand from the pre-treatment stage to downstream systems. Continuous, trouble-free operation protects pumps and optimizes the overall performance of the wastewater treatment plant.
Description
Screw Conveyor U
Screw Conveyor – Continuous Transport of Screenings, Sand, or Sludge
Conveying is achieved by means of an extremely robust conveying spiral rotating within a U-shaped trough that is fully lined with a wear-resistant insert along its entire length. The rotational direction of the spiral or the drive side can be adjusted, as both pushing and pulling operation modes ensure clog-free conveying.
For hygienic reasons, the entire length of the machine is covered with bolted lids, except in the area of the feed hoppers.
Accessories Mounted on the Conveyor (for Screenings and Sludge)
- Stainless steel perforated drainage section with surrounding spiral brush in the perforated area
- Removable drip water collection tray with drain connection, mounted near the gear motor
- Manual rinsing of the drainage tray
- 3/4" piping on the machine with rinse water fitting for hose nozzle R 3/4"
- Water outlet via flexible hose (L = 2.0 m) or plastic pipe, connected to the existing building drainage system or returned to the channel
